The Brief

KenCrest looked to us to further develop their existing brand with an identity extension. They found equity with their existing tree logomark, but needed were game to expand the visual identity however necessary.

The Approach

Instead of ignoring their tree logomark, we took advantage of it as a strong brand asset. A leaf repeating pattern was made from its leaves. This created the oppotunity to use the wordmark without the logo when the piece would be overwhelmed with the leaf pattern.

We introduced new typefaces for the brand and defined an extended color palette using their existing blue tones as the basis for everything.
