Evelo Biosciences
Evelo’s small intestinal axis, SINTAX, platform has the potential to transform the global treatment of all stages of inflammatory disease. We expanded upon their visual identity with new typographic treatments, image styles, illustration, icons, and an expanded color palette. On the cusp of COVID lockdown, this visual identity adapted like the rest of us, changing our approach to patient and employee photography to align with current events.

The Approach
We developed a loose, organic style for Evelo’s icons and illustrations. Using their existing logo as a basis, we expanded on their color palette to include complementary pastels that were carried through the identity.
